June 2009
Photos of my new triptych, Genesis/Deconstruction from the ongoing Rabbits series, added to portfolio page.

May 2009
I am currently working on the pieces for Plush You! this October. They will be a departure from the Rabbits series, although they will be similarly constructed using the same needle felting technique.

I had a blast in New York last month at he Art for Earth's Sake reception. Before the opening, I gave a short talk at the Girls Club with artist, Wahala Temi, about our work and what inspires and motivates us as artists. It was quite rewarding talking to the girls and I would like to thank the LES Girls Club for putting everything together! Thanks also to everyone who attended and for your kind words about Rabbits.

April 2009
Rabbits: Trophy Head Series will be featured at Art for Earth's Sake at the Art + Community Gallery, Lower Eastside Girls Club in New York, NY. The show will be up April 8 - May 3, 2009 and the artist's reception will be held on Earth Day, April 22, 2009.

Press Release (pdf)

I have also been accepted to Plush You!, an annual exhibition of plush and soft sculptures here in Seattle. The opening will be held October 9, 2009 and will feature some new pieces, so stay tuned for more details!
